Please join us in our support of parents of children with allergies as well as adults with allergies. We will do our best to help with any questions or concerns about allergies and breastfeeding the allergic child. All of the advice given here is from other parents based on their experience and research. Unless otherwise stated none of the posters here are health professionals. Please contact your or your child's physician with urgent questions.

Attachment parenting (AP), a phrase coined by Dr. William Sears, is a parenting philosophy that is also known as ?natural parenting?, ?instinctive parenting,? and ?intuitive parenting?. The hallmarks of attachment parenting are the five B?s?bonding, breastfeeding, babywearing, bedding with baby and being responsive to your baby?s cry. Because AP is based on responsive parenting, practices that ignore the baby's cues (e.g. cry-it-out, scheduled feedings) or devalue or disrespect the child (e.g. spanking, shaming) are not appropriate topics to be defended or debated here.
